Alisha Adams, RMT

SCHEDULE UPDATE:

  • Beginning May 2025 and lasting through the summer, I will only be scheduling 4 weeks in advance, and my shift schedule may change week by week. If we can’t book your next appointment at each visit due to timing, set yourself a reminder 4 weeks before your desired date to make sure you can grab a spot!

  • If your desired week/day/time is already booked, add yourself to the waitlist as I will be implementing an auto-alert feature when a spot that matches your availability opens. First come first serve!

  • Please note that the auto-alert only applies to cancellations on already existing slots, NOT when new shifts are added. So set yourself that reminder!

  • I am off May 2nd - 6th, and June 21st - 24th.

INFORMATION:

  • My practice is located at 1635 8th Avenue in the office of Dr. Lawrence Brkich, a naturopathic physician.

  • It is critical that you do not attend your appointment if you are unwell.

  • Direct billing to extended health coverage is NOT available. You will need to pay for your treatment, and then submit for reimbursement.

  • If you need to contact me, please know the only available ways to do so are by emailing me, or messaging me on my business Facebook page, Alisha Adams RMT. I do not have a business phone number.

Massage Therapy

Thank you for being here!

From 2014-2022, I was a CSEP-CPT (Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology Certified Personal Trainer) who valued movement that felt good in my clients’ bodies. From 2017-2020, I completed both my RYT-200 and RYT-300 yoga training programs, and taught yoga with a focus on movement curiosity and strength.

In September of 2020, I began my RMT journey at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC. In December 2022, I moved back home to PG to start my own practice. While I was in Victoria, I got a vast array of experience in and outside of school. This included working with sports teams, and being employed in a spa setting, and at a physiotherapy clinic.

In the world of massage, I approach treatment from all angles, and enjoy including active techniques such as PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), MET (muscle energy technique), fascial release, as well as General Swedish Massage. I also believe that caring for yourself at home plays a fundamental role in healing, making therapeutic exercise an important part of my treatment plans. I will always allow a few minutes to make sure you leave my treatment room with the tools to continue your care at home.

I am looking forward to participating in your wellness and healing journey.
